Northeast Tool & Manufacturing , an award-winning aerospace and precision machining company, is hiring an experienced
Quality Manager
to lead and elevate our quality function. This is a
critical leadership role
in a high-mix, low-volume CNC machining environment. You’ll oversee a talented quality team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 standards. Strong compensation, relocation assistance, and excellent benefits are available for qualified candidates. Key Responsibilities
Lead the company’s
Quality Management System (QMS)
and compliance with AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 Oversee and mentor a quality team including engineers, technicians, and metrology specialists Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process control strategies (SPC, control plans, PCR, PPAP, etc.) Manage all quality audits, internal reviews, and root cause corrective actions (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone) Coordinate MRB processes, disposition of non-conformances, and supplier quality interactions Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related communications with customers and suppliers Champion a culture of quality throughout the shop floor and across departments Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or similar field 7+ years in quality roles within
precision machining
or manufacturing 4+ years in a
quality leadership
position 3+ years of experience in an
AS9100-certified
aerospace environment Familiarity with GD&T (ASME Y14.5–2018) and quality tools (SPC, DOE, 8D, etc.) Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Bonus Points For
Master’s degree or advanced certifications (CMQ/OE, CQE, CQA, CSSBB) SolidWorks proficiency or CSWP certification Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in a CNC machining environment What We Offer
