The Opportunity We’re seeking a visionary and hands‑on Director of Information Systems to lead all aspects of corporate technology strategy and operations across both retail and corporate environments. This leader will oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, vendor relationships, and user support—ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of all systems while aligning technology investments with organizational goals.
This role reports directly to the SVP of Organizational Development and plays a key part in driving organizational performance, efficiency, and digital transformation.
What You’ll Do
Develop and implement GWNETX’s overall IT strategy to support organizational growth and mission delivery.
Oversee all daily IT operations, infrastructure, and systems across retail and corporate locations.
Lead IT financial planning, budgeting, and cost‑effective technology investments.
Evaluate, negotiate, and manage technology vendor partnerships and contracts.
Ensure strong data privacy, cybersecurity, and network integrity across the organization.
Establish and lead cybersecurity and computer‑use training for all employees.
Design and maintain infrastructure aligned with CARF standards and company needs.
Manage the Microsoft Refurbishment Program and Dell Reconnect, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
Oversee system troubleshooting, hardware/software maintenance, and user support for staff and stores.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to implement technology solutions that improve operations and reporting.
Lead special projects, manage resources and timelines, and communicate progress to leadership.
Drive continuous improvement in IT systems, security, and service delivery.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in IT leadership, network administration, or infrastructure management.
Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, hardware, and applications.
Experience managing budgets, vendors, and technology projects.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
Proven ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional collaboration.
Valid Texas driver’s license.
Prior Goodwill experience or experience supporting mission‑based organizations (preferred).
