Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse operations, including processing, organizing, and handling boxes and files. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and confidentiality standards, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. The Warehouse Associate may also operate company equipment or vehicles and must follow all Occupational Health and Safety regulations, transportation laws, and company policies while doing so. Job Responsibilities Barcode, process, and organize incoming boxes and files
Pull access lists and refile boxes and files as required
Barcode and process boxes scheduled for destruction
Perform bay consolidations to maintain efficient storage organization
Operate a picker forklift or other company equipment safely and efficiently
Conduct equipment safety checks prior to use, including battery, brakes, and lift controls
Safely pull, load, and move boxes in assigned areas
Perform warehouse maintenance and cleaning duties as needed
Make pickups and deliveries as assigned
Conduct basic vehicle maintenance as required
Job Requirements Strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and confidentiality
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to meet productivity and timeliness goals
Physically able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40-50 lbs continuously
Good eye-hand coordination and motor skills
Comfortable working at heights of 12-14 feet
Willingness to follow established procedures and contribute improvement suggestions
Must adhere to all company safety and security policies
Work Schedule Regular hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Temporary assignment located in Colonial Heights
Additional Job Details Immediate need for three temporary workers
Primary task: Emptying boxes into gaylords during normal business hours
Must maintain confidentiality and security of all company materials at all times
