Senior Warehouse Associate
to join our dynamic team.
Position Summary
The Senior Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in supporting efficient material utilization across departments and accurately tracking inventory. This individual will undertake crucial tasks for the organization including, but not limited to, accurately compiling parts kits for firearm production and managing the flow of all materials with the facility including raw stock, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods. Exceptional organizational skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Move raw materials, WIP, and finished goods between work areas and departments
Accurately compile firearm build kits for the production department
Maintain organized storage of inventory and ensure real-time updates in inventory systems
Accurately enter transactions for material issues, transfers, receipts, and cycle counts into the ERP system
Support ongoing inventory accuracy initiatives and the use of a warehouse barcode scanning system (WMS)
Resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with manufacturing and quality personnel
Schedule and complete internal warehouse transfers, departmental picks, and outbound shipments
Prepare reports and documentation for cycle counts, shortages, and pick lists
Assist with annual physical inventory preparation and execution
Optimize storage space and maintain warehouse organization
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment (required)
Strong working knowledge of ERP systems;
Oracle NetSuite and WMS experience strongly preferred
Certified forklift operator or ability to obtain certification
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Effective communicator across teams and departments
Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering excellent internal customer service
Ability to work with confidential information and solve logistical issues independently
Preferred but not required:
Experience with production planning
Experience in the firearms industry
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally. The role includes standing, walking, climbing, stooping, and working in both warehouse and office environments. Exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature changes may occur.
