Security Master/Investment Operations Analyst
– Location: New York, NY (hybrid) • Pay: $95-$100/hr • Contract opportunity, 3 months to start, with a high potential for renewal continuously
Position Overview We’re looking for a
Security Master Professional
to join our
Investment Operations
team. In this role, you’ll help manage and maintain the core reference data that powers our investment systems and supports a diverse range of funds, accounts, and portfolio companies.
You’ll work closely with teams across operations, compliance, and front office to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and aligned across multiple platforms. You’ll also play an active role in system integrations, testing, and process improvements as we continue to enhance our technology and workflows.

What You’ll Do
Set up and maintain new securities across internal Security Master systems.
Manage reference data across multiple platforms (e.g., Markit EDM, Everest, VPM) and ensure data consistency.
Maintain and update information such as securities, funds, currencies, brokers, issuers, and related attributes.
Reconcile data and support daily/monthly reporting, including trustee reporting for structured products (e.g., CLOs).
Partner with Compliance, Operations, and Trading teams to ensure accurate asset booking and policy alignment.
Participate in testing, integration, and continuous improvement of internal platforms and data processes.
Handle ad-hoc requests and provide operational support to internal and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years
of experience in investment operations, data management, or a related area.
Strong understanding of
Security Master
and
reference data management .
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on
data quality and control .
Experience with tools like
Bloomberg ,
Markit EDM ,
VPM , or
Everest
is a plus.
Familiarity with
credit ratings ,
bank debt ,
bonds ,
structured products , and
derivatives
preferred.
A proactive mindset, ability to manage tight deadlines, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
