The NFL is seeking a passionate and organized Flag Football Program Associate to help lead a variety of initiatives at the League. The Associate will play an integral leadership role for key flag football programs, including NFL Global Flag Ambassadors, Legends/Player’s integration and activations, partner relation management with key partners in the flag football space, and Olympic support. The right candidate has a passion for flag football, is team-oriented, with a high EQ and can navigate across internal departments, NFL Clubs and partners. This role will be a key liaison and cross‑functional player across the organization and work closely with Football Operations, Marketing, Events, Sponsorship, and Broadcasting teams to drive flag football efforts forward.
Responsibilities
Help lead program execution for Global Flag Ambassador program, including selection process, onboarding, and activation of Global Flag Ambassadors across NFL players/Legends, elite flag football players, and the broader flag football ecosystem.
Coordinate with Player Engagement and Football Operations to ensure effective integration and support of NFL players and Legends within flag initiatives.
Develop relationships with external flag/football partners to collaborate on programs and cover & amplify events (e.g., RCX Sports, High School Football America, MaxPreps).
Provide project management and execution support for Olympics initiatives in the lead‑up to flag football’s debut in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Collaborate with NFL Clubs on growing flag football, including coordinating communication and providing best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
2–3 years of proven experience in program management, strategy, or talent/partner relations.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
A collaborative team player who can navigate a matrixed organization and foster positive relationships across departments.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of NFL, professional or youth sports is preferred.
Knowledge of and passion for flag football strongly preferred.
Terms / Expected Hours of Work
NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week. This position is FLSA non‑exempt and may require overtime as needed.
This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL’s third‑party agency partners that provides services to the NFL. The individual selected for this role will be an employee of that third‑party agency and not the NFL. All compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment are handled by the agency. The assignment to provide services to the NFL will be limited in duration but may be extended for an additional period by agreement between the NFL and the agency.
Salary / Pay Range $25—$28 USD.
