Executive Chef – Marriott University of Dayton / Dayton, OH – $5,000 sign‑on bonus. Current salary range: $77,093.12 – $96,366.40 per year.
Danbury Senior Living provides executive‑level culinary leadership for our senior living community. The role supports an exceptional dining experience while ensuring safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Pay
Base pay range: $64,000.00 – $68,000.00 per year (actual pay based on skills and experience)
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, develop, inspire, and direct the overall operation of Dining Services to assure delicious, quality, nutritional services.
Ensure the department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
Determine presentation of food and create decorative displays; standardize operations.
Assist in planning regular and special diet menus as prescribed by attending physicians.
Perform administrative duties: complete necessary forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc., and submit as required.
Coordinate dining services with other departments as needed.
Develop and maintain strong working rapport with all community staff to ensure dining service meets resident needs.
Ensure staff, residents, and visitors follow established policies and procedures.
Delegate authority, responsibility, and accountability to appropriate staff.
Establish production lines to assure meals are prepared on time.
Qualifications
Must be ServSafe Certified.
Extensive experience providing fine dining in a variety of venues.
Culinary degree from an accredited institution.
At least 5 years of dietary/dining service experience in a supervisory capacity in a restaurant, hospital, or senior‑living facility.
Training/education in cost control, food management, and/or diet therapy for healthcare residents.
