Lead Performance and Attribution Analyst

to provide comprehensive investment performance reporting and analytics across a wide range of Fidelity portfolios, focusing on digital assets. In this role, you will address inquiries from investment staff and senior leaders regarding performance and attribution results. You will utilize index, accounting, and advisor analytics data to meet performance and attribution requirements, ensuring that internal calculations accurately reflect security and portfolio performance across all product types. Your responsibilities will also include executing performance attribution data quality processes daily and driving enhancements. You will deliver performance and attribution reporting results to investment staff, product managers, and senior leadership. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to lead initiatives and define business requirements. The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelor's degree in economics or finance is a plus; 7+ years of professional experience. 5+ years of experience in a fund accounting or performance-oriented setting preferred. Strong understanding of performance metrics, attribution, and multi-asset class investment strategies. Familiarity with blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, digital asset types, and relevant market regulations. A genuine interest and curiosity about digital asset technologies and their performance implications. Experience with performance metrics and methodologies in the cryptocurrency space. Skilled in defining business requirements to support technical specifications. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. Ability to implement performance improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights and market trends. Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and the capacity to influence without authority. Strong attention to detail and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic work environment. Exceptional Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to navigate uncertainty and dynamically adjust priorities as needed. Proficient in solving complex data issues and communicating findings to clients and stakeholders. Experience managing relationships with departmental client groups and business partners. Deliver accurate and timely investment performance and attribution reports to all Fidelity advisors. Compile, analyze, and validate performance and attribution results for organizational and external distribution. Analyze and interpret portfolio performance, identifying factors influencing it, such as industry trends, market cap, security selection, and other market variables. Respond to ad hoc inquiries from portfolio managers, senior leaders, and other business partners. Note:

The Team The Performance, Attribution, and Product Disclosure team addresses investment staff inquiries and supports their informational needs related to portfolio performance and attribution. This team is responsible for daily monitoring of portfolio, index, and third-party data while ensuring the accuracy of performance and attribution results for internal users and external deliverables. We produce daily, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports that decompose portfolio returns, which are utilized in marketing materials, public reporting, and portfolio management. The team also provides custom performance and attribution analyses to investment staff and senior leaders. We are hiring a Lead Performance and Attribution Analyst at grade levels 5 or 6. Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
