In this position, you will be part of our agency’s senior management team and report to the Director of COSA. Your work will ensure that our teams have the fiscal resources they need to effectively continue planning, coordinating, and administering programs and services for the County's aging population.
Responsibilities
Applying advanced accounting principles and procedures to administer the fiscal operations and supervising fiscal staff.
Preparing the agency's budgets and sub-budgets, maintaining various accounts to reflect cost categories.
Preparing fiscal reports for various stakeholders and overseeing the agency's timekeeping system.
Liaising with the County Controller, Treasurer's office, and auditors.
Maintaining all agency fiscal records to reflect accurate fiscal status at all times.
Work Schedule and Additional Information
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch.
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non‑negotiable.

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility Qualifications
One year as a County Fiscal Officer 2; or
Three years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business‑related bachelor’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
Five years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business‑related associate’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
A conditional offer of employment will require submission of criminal history reports.
