Industrial Designer – Retail Environments & Fixtures
Location: Central Indiana (Hybrid / Occasional travel to Indianapolis)
Start Date: ASAP | Hours: Contract 90 Day (40 hrs/week) 30 day probationary period.
About the Role We’re looking for a passionate and inventive Industrial Designer to join our growing retail design team. You’ll take ideas from concept to reality—developing, modeling, and refining retail environments and fixtures that elevate brand presence and deliver practical, production-ready solutions.

What You’ll Do
Develop innovative retail and branded environment designs—from concept sketches through final production documentation.
Create 3D models and photorealistic renderings using Rhino and other visualization tools to communicate design intent.
Design with a strong focus on metal and mixed-material fabrication for fixtures, displays, and architectural elements.
Partner with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to ensure every design is functional, buildable, and aligned with client goals.
Prepare detailed technical drawings, presentations, and specifications for review and production handoff.
Balance creative vision with real-world practicality, ensuring every solution is visually compelling, structurally sound, and cost-effective.
What You Bring
Proficiency in Rhino (3D modeling, rendering, and pre‑visualization).
Strong background in industrial design for retail displays, fixtures, or branded environments.
Solid understanding of metalworking and fabrication processes.
Experience producing production‑ready drawings and documentation.
Collaborative mindset with experience working on cross‑functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
A portfolio that demonstrates innovative, well‑crafted retail or branded environment design work.
