The primary duties of this position include creating process design models, pipeline plans, and profile drawings independently under the guidance of a Project Engineer or Project Manager. Projects involve water/wastewater treatment facilities or pipelines. You will perform complex BIM modeling and Civil3D drafting tasks requiring standardized electronic modeling/drafting techniques. You should be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating workload with your supervisor to meet deadlines while maintaining work/life balance. Knowledge of design development and construction document procedures for water/wastewater and infrastructure projects is essential. The ability to collaborate effectively as part of a project team and with colleagues from other offices is also crucial. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Google Earth, Autodesk Revit, and AutoCAD. Candidates demonstrating proficiency in at least Civil3D and/or Revit are encouraged to apply. Collaborative design development is key to our success. Applicants should expect to work in the office at least four days per week. Primary Responsibilities
Develop design and construction drawings with guidance from the Project Engineer or Project Manager. Perform routine CADD/BIM assignments using electronic drafting techniques, including annotation, layer management, and drawing presentation. Create design drawings and initial engineering layouts for water/wastewater/stormwater systems and civil site plans. Assemble plan sets and coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines and reference files. Learn and apply project/client-specific drafting standards. Work independently on redline revisions and develop design drawings from sketches. Perform basic quantity and geometry calculations. Preferred Qualifications
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to recognize issues and solve problems independently. Effective communication, coordination, and workload prioritization across multiple projects. Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology/CAD or minimum of 2 years of professional CAD experience with AutoDesk certification. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Revit, following CAD standards. Strong skills in Microsoft Office and BlueBeam Revu. Ability to follow written and oral instructions and document task completion. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM, Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Infrastructure. Experience developing alignments and profiles for utilities using Civil3D. Experience creating drawings for water and wastewater treatment facilities and pump stations using Revit. Required Qualifications
Proficiency with 3D design software and document management infrastructure. Competency in Microsoft Office and communication tools. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts. Our Values and Commitment
