Leidos is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Program Officer to provide vital cybersecurity support services. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining an effective cybersecurity program that safeguards the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Air Force Intelligence Community (AF IC) information resources.
The Mission
The National Security Sector at Leidos is committed to delivering top-notch technology-enabled services to defense and intel customers across various domains, including cyber defense, logistics, security operations, and decision analytics.
The successful candidate will assist ACC Cybersecurity Chief Information Security Officer and unit Information System Security Officers in formulating and executing local unit Cybersecurity programs, ensuring compliance with ACC, AF, IC, and Department of Defense (DOD) guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement local unit Cybersecurity programs and security plans in accordance with relevant guidelines.
- Collect and analyze data on local Cybersecurity program compliance, reporting progress and outcomes to leadership.
- Engage with local units to conduct Cybersecurity assessments and recommend enhancements to strengthen their programs.
- Design and deliver on-the-job training for government and military personnel on IT security tools, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Current TS/SCI security clearance is required upon joining.
- Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience (or an Associate's degree with 7 years of experience). Additional experience may substitute for educational requirements.
- Must possess IAT Level II certification.
- Experience with JWICS SYSAD administration is essential.
- Familiarity with Assessment and Authorization documents and Cybersecurity program tasks.
- A minimum of two years' experience with AF and IC plans and policies.
- Willingness to learn and apply ICD 705 physical and personnel security practices.
