AdventHealth Manchester Surrounded by beautiful forests and wildlife Known as “The Gateway To The Redbud Capital of Kentucky” Enjoy 3,150 acres of off-roading trails Home to the historical swinging bridges of Clay County Rich Appalachian history and culture Declared “Elk Capital of the East” Over 600 miles of trails provided by the Daniel Boone National Forest The role you’ll contribute: The Medical Assistant, under general supervision, provides appropriate care to patients as well as follows AdventHealth service standards. This includes safely and effectively greeting patients, obtaining clinical information, financial and demographic information. Responsible for assisting providers during treatment and examination and may assist with procedures and medication administration as ordered by the provider. Performs office duties as needed; which includes but is not limited to, verifying insurance, collecting copays and scheduling necessary appointments. The value you’ll bring to the team: Assist with screenings per physician orders and enters all information accurately and at the time of service or results Performs clinical intake according to AHMG policy and procedures May be responsible for assisting with minor procedures associated with specialty May be required to travel as needed to fulfill staffing needs Must do Phlebotomy in this role*
