What youll achieve In this role you will be responsible for partnership with peer hardware & system Architecture teams regarding the Validation strategy and key focus areas for our Client PC division. You will participate in the architecture and definition activities associated with methods for validating hardware PC systems and broader solutions and influence the downstream global Validation execution teams. This will include activities like identifying needs for new/different test and diagnostic programs, fixtures, and tools, and helping the Validation execution team identify labor, schedules, equipment, and software required for validating and evaluating our new and innovative solutions. Heres what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Extensive knowledge of PC hardware architecture, design, subsystem components Extensive experience with PC and/or PC ecosystem Validation principles 10+ years in large-scale technical corporation BS in Engineering (Hardware focus ideal -- ME, EE, Thermal, etc.) Desirable Requirements Significant experience in PC ODM or PC OEM corporations (ex: HP, Lenovo, Asus, Compal, Foxconn, etc.) Significant experience in PC Technology corporations (ex: Microsoft, Intel, AMD, etc.) Compensation Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
