ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented Quality Assurance Line Inspector who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company. As Quality Assurance Line Inspector, you play a critical role in ensuring the production of high-quality products by conducting thorough inspections and assessments of items on the production line. Your attention to detail, understanding of quality standards, and ability to communicate effectively are vital to maintaining and improving product quality.
Quality Assurance Line Inspector 2nd Shift
Your main responsibilities will be:
Conduct visual and/or functional inspections of products on the production line. Utilize testing equipment and tools to ensure products meet specified quality standards. Identify and document any defects, deviations, or non-conformities. Record inspection results accurately and maintain detailed inspection logs. Work closely with production teams to address quality issues. Communicate with supervisors, managers, and quality assurance technicians to provide feedback on product quality. Stay informed about and adhere to established quality control standards and procedures. Monitor compliance with quality specifications and requirements. Participate in problem-solving initiatives to enhance overall product quality. Support the development of a quality-conscious culture within the organization. Maintain ISO compliance standard. Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting at times. Hold non-conforming product to prevent it from leaving production. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or coursework in quality control are a plus. Previous experience in quality assurance or a related field preferred. Detail-oriented with a strong ability to spot defects and inconsistencies. Familiarity with quality control tools such as calipers, micrometers. Drawing and technical specification comprehension. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate inspection results and quality concerns clearly. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Willingness to contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment. We offer:
