Cyber Systems Engineer
to support a company focused on security systems within the DOD. This position is on-site at
Fort Belvoir.
This is a direct-hire opportunity supporting a national leader in secure, resilient power and technology systems. The specialist will work on-site, supporting the design, integration, and sustainment of advanced electronic security systems for federal clients.
Responsibilities for the Cyber
Systems Engineer
include:
Administer and troubleshoot electronic security systems (intrusion detection, access control, biometrics, video surveillance, etc.) Perform system triage, resolve issues, and analyze system data to prevent future problems Implement and maintain secure IT systems and workstations Support system integration and sustainment across CONUS and OCONUS locations Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance system performance and security posture Ensure compliance with STIGs, benchmarks, and federal cybersecurity standards Required Qualifications for the
Cyber Systems Engineer
include:
8+ years of experience with Information Technology Strong system administration experience in secure environments Familiarity with Active Directory, VMware ESXi, and vSphere environments Understanding of STIGs, ACAS/SCAP scans, and network protocols Bachelor's Degree or years of experience in lieu of degree Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required Compensation for the
Cyber Systems Engineer
includes:
Salary Range: $140,000-$165,000 depending on experience Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Maternity Leave, Military Reserve Pay Offset
