Senior Project Manager - Mechanical Contracting (Raleigh, NC) Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead complex mechanical construction projects in the Raleigh area. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and process piping systems, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality results. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion. Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations. Oversee procurement, subcontractor selection, and contract negotiations. Monitor field operations and ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures. Provide leadership and mentorship to project engineers and junior staff. Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders and senior leadership. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in mechanical contracting, with at least 5 years in a project management role. Proven track record of successfully managing multi-million dollar commercial or industrial projects. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction processes, and project controls. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam). Preferred: PMP certification or equivalent. Experience with healthcare, data center, or pharmaceutical projects.
