Job Overview
A local hospital is seeking to build out a phlebotomy team that will work as an integral extension of the nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Perform phlebotomy procedures.
- Conduct vital sign checks as needed.
- Assist with patient mobility in limited circumstances as needed.
- Stock supply closets during downtime.
Essential Skills
- Experience in phlebotomy verified by references.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Medical Assistant experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is a plus.
Work Environment
The role is based in a lab setting within a leading hospital in West Knoxville. Known for its specialization in elective procedures, the hospital is colloquially referred to as the 'country club' of hospitals in the area. This position offers a long‑term contract, collaborating closely with hospital administration. Enjoy 40 hours of PTO in the first 9 months and 60 hours of PTO offered every 6 months.

Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
