The Opportunity: Transform Data Into Insight

Are you passionate about uncovering the story behind the numbers? Orion180 is seeking a Data & Marketing Insights Analyst to power our marketing strategy with robust, data-driven intelligence.

In this role, you will bridge marketing and analytics, transforming complex data sets into actionable insights that optimize performance, guide decision-making, and accelerate business growth.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a critical role in extracting, analyzing, and visualizing data that shapes strategic direction across marketing, sales, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection & Integration
Aggregate data from HubSpot, CRM, ad platforms, and internal systems to create unified, accurate, and scalable marketing datasets.

  • Performance Analytics & Forecasting
Conduct deep-dive analyses on campaign ROI, customer acquisition cost (CAC), conversion rates, retention, and engagement metrics. Use predictive analytics and statistical modeling to forecast outcomes and identify growth opportunities.

  • Attribution & Channel Optimization
Build and maintain multi-touch attribution models using GA4, GTM, and BI dashboards to quantify the impact of each channel on conversions.

  • Campaign & Funnel Insights
Partner with the marketing team to evaluate performance of digital and traditional campaigns (SEO, PPC, social media, email, and direct mail) and recommend data-backed optimizations.

  • Data Visualization & Reporting
Develop interactive dashboards and executive summaries in Power BI and Excel to present marketing performance KPIs and strategic trends clearly and visually.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Orion180’s Business Intelligence (BI) and Product Analytics teams to align marketing performance insights with financial and operational objectives.

  • Process Automation & Governance
Streamline data pipelines and automate recurring reports using SQL, VBA, and Python/R scripts to enhance accuracy, speed, and scalability.

What We’re Looking For

Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field.

Experience:

  • 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, marketing analytics, or business intelligence roles.

  • Proven experience translating analytical insights into business strategies and executive recommendations.

  • Prior exposure to insurance, financial services, or SaaS/tech environments preferred.

Technical Proficiency:

  • SQL—advanced querying, data joins, and performance tuning.

  • Excel—strong analytical modeling, pivot tables, and dashboard automation.

  • Power BI—creating visuals, DAX measures, and interactive reporting.

  • HubSpot CRM or equivalent marketing automation platforms.

  • GA4, GTM, and digital ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn).

  • Bonus: Experience in Python or R for data cleaning, regression analysis, and forecasting models.

Analytical Strengths:

  • Strong understanding of marketing funnel metrics, statistical inference, and performance attribution.

  • High proficiency in data storytelling—simplifying complex data into actionable insights.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify trends and anomalies.

  • What’s in It for You

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

  • Direct impact on marketing growth and brand performance.

  • Exposure to cutting-edge InsurTech tools and analytics frameworks.
