Hiring Partner - Digital Services at Insight Global

Insight Global is seeking a Hardware Engineer who is responsible for hardware testing and debugging, environment setup, assisting to identify related hardware engineering issues, and communicating with HQ team and vendors to ensure products are delivered on time. This team manufactures servers for large Fortune 500 companies. Relocation assistance is provided and candidates are required to work 5 days onsite in Fremont, CA.

*Candidates must be able to work on our client's W2 without sponsorship now and in the future.*

Level 1 - 0-2 years of experience. Salary Target: $80K-$95K

Level 2 - 3-7 years of experience. Salary Target: $95K-$1105K

Level 3 - 7+ years of experience. Salary Target: $105K-$130K

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the engineers to solve the engineering issue timely.
  • Set up HW testing and debug environment.
  • Collaborate with R&D to find out the root cause.
  • Support the manufacturing debug team troubleshoot.
  • Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to R&D, manufacturing, and customer.
  • Measure the signal waveform and support the bring up test

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge of/Experience in/Proficiency in server/storage/PC hardware architecture
  • Demonstrated analytical critical thinking skills and communication skills.
  • Experience working in manufacturing and/or product development role.
  • Firsthand lab debug experience with scopes is desirable.

Compensation: $80,000 to $130,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
