The Role We’re seeking a Director of Sales Development to lead, inspire, and scale our global SDR team. This is a career‑defining opportunity for a proven leader who’s grown through the SDR ranks—from SDR to AE/Manager—and is now ready to take on a director‑level challenge building a world‑class pipeline organization.
You will own the strategy and execution for outbound pipeline generation, partner with Sales/Marketing/Product on GTM alignment, and coach SDRs into their next career stages—building a true talent incubator for Safe’s sales org.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Scale: Hire, train, and develop a global team of high‑performing SDRs. Build a culture of accountability, coaching, and continuous learning.
Pipeline Growth: Drive outbound and inbound pipeline creation strategies to exceed qualified opportunity targets.
GTM Alignment: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product on ICP definition, messaging, and campaigns that convert.
Performance Optimization: Use data and sales tools (Salesforce, Outreach, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, HubSpot) to track KPIs, iterate, and accelerate performance.
Career Development: Create enablement programs and clear progression paths (SDR ← AE/Manager ← Leadership) to make Safe a top destination for sales talent.
Strategic Impact: Report regularly to senior leadership (CRO, CEO) with insights on pipeline health, performance trends, and growth strategy.
What You Bring
6–10 years of experience in SaaS/B2B sales development, including 2+ years leading SDR/BDR teams.
A track record of progression—SDR ← AE/Manager ← Director—demonstrating hands‑on understanding of the role at every level.
Proven success in exceeding pipeline targets and developing SDRs into AEs or leaders.
Deep familiarity with sales tech stack: Salesforce, SalesLoft/Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
Experience working with enterprise accounts and comfort engaging with senior decision‑makers (CISOs, CIOs, CROs).
A player‑coach mentality: data‑driven, hands‑on, and passionate about scaling teams.
(Nice to have) Background in cybersecurity or technical SaaS.
