Vienna, VA
area to find a highly skilled
Senior Tax Accountant . This is a full-time, in-office position offering the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of individual, business, and nonprofit clients, providing critical tax preparation, review, and advisory services.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations
Develop and execute tax planning strategies to minimize client tax liabilities
Monitor changes in tax laws and assess the impact on client planning and compliance
Ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance in all financial documents and filings
Serve as a trusted advisor by building and maintaining strong client relationships
Qualifications
CPA or EA license
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ( Master’s in Taxation a plus )
Minimum
5 years of tax experience
in public accounting
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Proficiency with tax software (CCH Axcess or ProSystem fx preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
