Cleveland, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor entry points and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone onsite. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Carry out access control procedures based on site-specific policies for utilities locations, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points. Assist with security-related customer service needs by providing information and guidance to employees, contractors, and visitors. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Perform regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity. Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to support site security procedures. Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities in reports according to company and client policies. Communicate with Allied Universal management, site supervisors, and local authorities as needed regarding security-related concerns or emergencies. Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
