As a
Security Professional - Media Patrol Driver
in
Rochester, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic technology and media location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. This position requires a valid driver's license and follows AU's driver policy requirements, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your duties. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and contribute to a positive and collaborative environment that reflects our commitment to integrity and teamwork. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and promote a secure environment. Observe and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance concerns during patrols within the technology and media environment. Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding issues or incidents on site. Assist visitors and employees with directions and information in a courteous and professional manner. Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required for the location. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
