Responsibilities
Coordinating with the drive test teams to ensure drive tests are performed as per the plan and on time.
Ensuring all the CIQ data and Port Matrix Data and other information needed to prepare SCFs are available on time.
Follow the swap schedule on a daily basis.
Coordinate with teams, Project Management and the customer.
Present daily, weekly swap updates to the customer in Daily/Weekly meetings.
Maintain and update trackers for swapped sites and delivered services.
Trigger the activities (SSV, SSS) at the right time after swap completion to ensure smooth project operation.
Investigate KPIs and Quality of Service-related issues at Cell/Band/Site/Cluster levels.
Log in to sites to check alarms and operations-related issues and communicate them to the relevant teams.
Evaluate SSV/SSS/SSP reports before submitting them to the customer.
Coordinate with GDC teams to ensure error-free reports are sent to the customer for acceptance.
Perform LTE/5G Parameter Audit and correlate changes with KPI behavior.
5G optimization experience covering Sub6 optimization; DSS optimization; mmWave optimization; VONR, NSA, SA.
Experience with multi-layer cluster optimization including 5G/LTE/UMTS.
Performs RF performance activities in customer projects independently, according to project plan and guidance from project managers.
Analyze KPIs, investigate and improve network quality problems.
Implement new features and tuning of 5G/4G (LTE) radio network parameters.
Experience with network performance management functions including trending, analysis, monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Prior experience with 5G/LTE parameters, KPI counters, Operational Performance Indicator (OPI) counters, and associated call scenarios. Review daily KPI reports to identify sites with performance degradation.
Deep experience in network performance components and troubleshooting. Knowledge of tools such as NetAct OSS, Web Element Manager, CM Editor, and creating reports with deep-dive counter-based analysis.
Understanding of Radio Resource Management functionalities (handover control, admission controls, capacity management, etc.).
Knowledge of running traces for troubleshooting/analysis. Familiarity with drive testing equipment (e.g., JDSU/RAN Advisor, Nemo, TEMS, X-CAL, Windcatcher, FalconSmart).
Experience with NetAct in alarm management, performance suite management, and parameter configuration.
Desirable: experience with T-Mobile tools and platforms (OneData, Truecall, ActixOne, Atoll, Asset, IMNOS, RFDS).
Hands-on experience with TDD and FDD parameters and RF optimization analysis using tools similar to ACTIX.
Expertise in troubleshooting to perform tasks such as resetting eNB/gNB/RRH, changing parameters, running XLM plans, alarms, and RSSI issues.
Hands-on knowledge of monitoring site alarms, health checks, and resolving alarms.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: MS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or related field; Bachelors with 10+ years of experience acceptable.
Strong teamwork, disciplined process adherence, good communication and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (formulas, macros) and PowerPoint.
Pay Range $35-$45/hr W2
