Overview
A Chicagoland investment management firm is seeking a Director of Fund Finance to support a growing platform of private funds and institutional joint ventures. The firm oversees several billion in assets across multiple investment vehicles and is continuing to expand through new fund formations and partnerships with institutional investors. The Director will oversee fund-level financial reporting, valuations, and investor reporting, while working closely with portfolio management, investor relations, and external service providers. This role will be instrumental in ensuring reporting accuracy, maintaining compliance with GAAP and fund agreements, managing capital activity, and supporting new fund launches and investment structures. Base pay range
$200,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr Additional compensation types
Annual Bonus Responsibilities
Lead fund-level financial reporting, consolidations, and forecasting across multiple vehicles. Oversee quarterly valuations, investor reports, and performance analytics. Responsible for all FP&A for platform. Develop financing models and financial analysis. Support capital planning. Manage capital calls, distributions, and investor account activity. Coordinate audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements with external partners. Support new fund formations, joint venture structures, and process improvements. Partner cross-functionally to enhance financial transparency and operational efficiency. Manage Fund’s credit facility. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA. 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in financial services, real estate, or private equity. Prior public accounting highly preferred. Experience managing complex fund structures and investor reporting processes. Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
