This role involves executing brand strategy and tactics in the field, driving sales performance, and building strong customer relationships while adhering to AbbVie’s business code of conduct and all applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities

Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed goals. Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and perform post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance. Effectively handle objections and gain action-oriented calls to close on sales opportunities. Proactively serve customer needs and expectations to build trusted relationships and achieve win-win agreements between AbbVie and customers. Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities. Continuously build understanding of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market dynamics, and disease/product knowledge; share market intelligence with in-field and brand teams to align strategy and execution. Differentiate AbbVie\'s value proposition with healthcare providers and identify and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance. Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, business-related field, or relevant equivalent experience required; or five (5) years of industry experience with at least three (3) years in pharma/health/science if no degree. Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge; strong business acumen; proficient with business tools; ability to operate in a matrix environment; offers innovative ideas to maximize opportunities. Proven track record in sales with strong presentation skills; ability to adapt selling approach to customer style and behavior; contributes ideas to the larger organization and responds to changes. Influences others; credible and respected resource among peers; collaborates with district and matrix teams; leads by example and coaches through change. Documented leadership and increased responsibility at district/region/organizational levels; understands and leverages findings to develop sales strategies. Preferred: experience in sales within therapeutic areas, physician/account-based selling, training, managed care, or marketing; English proficiency in speaking and writing (for non-English speaking countries). HCIR credentialing requirements to gain and maintain entry into facilities and organizations in the assigned territory; must be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials. This position may include compensation details and a range of base pay; actual compensation is determined by geographic location and other factors.
