We are seeking an accomplished Senior Product Manager to lead the development of internal service systems for Tesla's Robotaxi maintenance and repair operations. As a key member of our Product team, you will help shape the internal service infrastructure to optimize maintenance workflows, ensure high reliability for our Robotaxi fleet, and drive efficiency and excellence in our autonomous fleet services. Your expertise in service systems will enhance operational efficiency and support the scalability of our growing fleet.
What You'll Do
Define and document product requirements and features for internal service systems, focusing on Robotaxi maintenance and repair workflows, informed by operational needs, system inefficiencies, and industry best practices
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Operations, Engineering, and Data teams, to design and launch internal tools and systems that streamline maintenance and repair processes
Engage with Service teams to understand operational challenges, identify requirements, and develop solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance and repair operations
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Service leadership, engineering teams, and senior management
Analyze operational feedback, system performance metrics, and service data to identify opportunities for tool enhancements and process improvements in maintenance workflows
Develop and manage product roadmaps for internal service systems, prioritizing initiatives based on business objectives and operational demands of maintenance and repair
Partner with Data teams to leverage data‑driven insights to inform strategic product decisions for service infrastructure
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in autonomous vehicle maintenance, identifying opportunities to integrate innovative solutions into internal service systems
What You'll Bring
3-5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on developing and optimizing internal tools or service systems
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams
Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive data‑informed decisions
Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
Process‑oriented mindset with a passion for optimizing internal workflows and operational efficiency
Experience in the autonomous vehicle or automotive service industries
Nice to have: Knowledge of maintenance and repair processes for autonomous vehicles or robotic systems
Familiarity with agentic implementations and data analytics tools for operational optimization in service systems
Compensation and Benefits Expected Compensation
$128,000 - $228,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
