Overview
Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Faculty Physician for our Residency Program based in Wichita, Kansas. This is a full-time core faculty position with a focus on teaching residents in full-spectrum Family Medicine with OB.
Responsibilities
Serve as a core faculty member with a desire to engage in teaching, leadership, service, scholarship, mentorship, and patient-care
Instruct MD and DO residents in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT); strong preference to enhance and grow Osteopathic Principles and Practice (OPP) curriculum
Maintain a strong procedural background (non-operative OB and adult ICU management) with available mentorship to regain currency if not currently practiced
Adhere to a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating nights and weekends shared among 15 core faculty
Lead one inpatient team for one week at a time, approximately 10 times per year, with on-call responsibilities across adult medicine, pediatrics, OB, and newborn care
Maintain at least one half-day of clinic to see own patients
Participate in comprehensive benefits including PTO, CME allowance, health insurance, malpractice coverage, relocation assistance
