Responsibilities
Lead the community2; daily operations, associate relations, resident and resident family engagement, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.
Develop and execute the business plan; grow revenue and profitability in partnership with the district team; work with sales to drive results;
Create an inclusive community culture that provides high-quality resident experiences and care, engaging residents, families, and associates.
Supervise and motivate staff; ensure appropriate staffing levels and compliance with legal requirements.
Recruit, develop, and retain associates; manage promotions, development plans, discipline, and retention metrics.
Maintain high resident satisfaction and occupancy; address opportunities for improvement in satisfaction and engagement with input from district leaders.
Collaborate with clinical leaders for care services in assisted living or memory care; oversee admission processes and resident documentation for compliance.
Achieve budgeted revenue and profitability; identify revenue opportunities and control expenses within policy and regulatory guidelines.
Drive sales and marketing efforts to meet occupancy or revenue targets; develop leads and strategic relationships; monitor RevPAR trends.
Build relationships with local influencers and civic groups; represent the community to government agencies, professional organizations, and community groups.
Ensure property upkeep to Company standards through preventative maintenance and regular inspections.
Enforce Company policies and maintain required licenses.
Qualifications Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor2;s Degree preferred. Minimum of two years in operational leadership required; additional years may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
Certifications, Licenses, And Other Special Requirements
Valid administrator license in states where required; valid driver2;s license and access to a private vehicle for business use.
Management/Decision Making
Ability to handle problems and issues; demonstrated leadership to direct and evaluate resident care, marketing, food service, housekeeping, and maintenance units; supervisory responsibilities aligned with policy and law.
Knowledge And Skills
Knowledge of the organization and industry; strong communication skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; ability to delegate appropriately; good judgment and problem-solving abilities; familiarity with Microsoft software.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Standing, walking, sitting
Use of hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms
Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Requires interaction with co-workers, residents or vendors
Occasional weekend, evening or night work; on-call as needed
Possible exposure to communicable diseases, blood-borne pathogens, and various hazards
Requires travel occasionally; driving as needed
