Parker Hannifin Position Summary Our Quick Coupling Division is looking for a Sourcing Manager to help support individual sourcing projects and a set of assigned commodities. This role will also assist in contract execution, implementation and supplier reviews for assigned contracts. In this role, you will work collaboratively and proactively to identify process, sourcing and contract improvement opportunities. This role will report to the Division Sourcing & Procurement Manager. Responsibilities Position sources suppliers, and may assist with bid evaluations, cost analyses, price justification, and risk assessment of suppliers. Project leadership and support. Play an active and leading role in various cross functional and independent projects through management, analysis, or data development. May assist with supplier negotiations on new procurements or changes to existing purchase orders. May draft purchase orders and agreements for approval by the Sourcing & Commodity Manager. Coordinates and participates in supplier meetings. Note: The company reserves the right to modify work assignments and provide accommodations as needed. Experience and/or exposure to supply chain concepts and methodologies, and manufacturing through internships or training programs. Analytical and technical skills to understand business practices and identify automation opportunities. Intermediate computer skills and ability to work with electronic processing systems. Ability to read and interpret technical product drawings. Experience with PPAP and Quality System Improvements in the supply base. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with internal and external contacts. Ability to quickly learn new tools and systems. Ability to identify problems and take corrective action. Aptitude to manage by influence, not just by hierarchy.
