The Category Manager is a critical new role on the Kenvue Amazon/TikTok Shop/Last Mile Team. You will be responsible for building and developing consultative partnerships with Amazon, TikTok Shop, and Instacart. Shape category growth plans based on key data, shopper and category insights and trends. Lead assortment assessments, business processes and have tool capabilities across key shopper / category systems such as POS, Syndicated Data, Stackline, and Profitero. Operate in a fast-paced, complex, and changing business environment and develop strategic recommendations from insights and data. Serve as a category expert, provide thought leadership, and influence online activation of on-site improvements and promotions to improve category performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable recommendations for Amazon, TikTok Shop, and Instacart. Develop and oversee category strategy development including growth plans for focus segments/brands, regional/demographic opportunities, and assortment gaps. Support/drive omnichannel best-practices to enhance the Category Excellence team's work. What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of proven experience in the CPG industry (customer insights, category management and/or shopper insights) or equivalent relevant experience. Deep analytical expertise with Stackline, Profitero, panel data, shopper-card data, and other research tools. Extensive knowledge of Amazon structure, strategy, and execution tactics; experience with Instacart and/or TikTok Shop is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships. Strong digital literacy, including MS Office Suite, with ability to draw accurate conclusions. Ability to understand and interpret shopper and category insights research and syndicated data (Circana/Nielsen) and Numerator panel. Ability to independently organize and complete assigned work; strong presentation skills and ability to tailor to different decision makers. Ability to communicate complex information across multiple levels and develop/oversee execution of project plans. Experience in people development is preferred. What’s In It For You
Annual base salary range: $124,100.00 - $175,200.00 plus benefits; specifics vary by location and experience.
