Principal Test Engineer: RDV-2530

deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Principal Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL.

Position Description deciBel Research seeks an experienced Test Engineer to support the Ground Based Midcourse (GMD) Weapon System (GWS). The successful candidate will support the program's GSS IPT, and will be responsible for scheduling the tests for execution and then will monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust for evolving conditions.

Education Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM related field

Experience Requirements

5+ years with Bachelor's degree, 3+ years with Master's degree, or 1+ years with PhD.

Experience in designing, developing, implementing, and executing test plans, integration plans, and procedures to complete system-level integration testing.

Ability to understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete system-level integration testing.

Experience developing testing criteria to successfully satisfy requirements.

Experience in C++ development

Experience using Python and other scripting languages

Experience using Eggplant

Experience with Gitlab or Bitbucket

Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs.

Special Skills Desired

Security+ certification

Previous GMD Experience

Previous Missile Defense Experience

Familiarity with Java

Experience using Cameo

Active Top Secret Clearance

Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance . Must be a U.S. Citizen.
