We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our firm and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional client service. Position Overview:
The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of bankruptcy and foreclosure matters on behalf of the firm’s clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, sound legal judgment, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in Bankruptcy and Foreclosure proceedings, including hearings and mediations.
Review, prepare, and manage legal pleadings, motions, and related documents.
Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
Ensure all actions are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Active license and good standing with the Maryland and/or Virginia State Bar.
0–5 years of Bankruptcy and Foreclosure experience preferred, but willing to train.
Have a vehicle and willing to attend in person hearings.
Must reside in Maryland or Virginia.
Strong ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality client service.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented, conscientious, and reliable with respect to deadlines and attendance.
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
