Job Summary
EA Analysts are responsible for the day-to-day execution of the EA function at Wellstar. The EA Analyst will work with Enterprise Architects and interface with various enterprise stakeholders to define technical solutions. This role is responsible for assisting in developing EA principles, frameworks, and roadmaps, including documenting EA solutions and presenting them for business alignment. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills to connect disparate teams, draw out alignment, and communicate plans, strategies, and action items. The ideal candidate will also have a deep understanding of enterprise systems, cloud technologies, integration strategies, and IT governance. Core Responsibilities And Essential Functions
EA Strategy & Governance Support: Assist in developing EA principles, frameworks, and roadmaps. Support architecture governance processes, including policy enforcement. Conduct compliance reviews to ensure adherence to EA standards. Business & IT Alignment: Analyze business processes, capabilities, and value streams to identify improvement areas. Assist with the development of business cases including scope definition, current state description, and workflows. Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure technology alignment with strategy. Help create business capability models and IT roadmaps. Application & Technology Analysis: Maintain application and technology inventories. Assist in application rationalization efforts to reduce redundancies and costs. Support cloud adoption, infrastructure modernization, and digital transformation initiatives. EA Tooling & Documentation: Use EA tools (e.g., ArchiMate, LeanIX, BizzDesign, Sparx EA) to model and document architectures. Maintain EA repositories and dashboards for architecture insights. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication: Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership and governance boards. Assist in running EA review meetings and stakeholder workshops. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct. Education and Certifications
Required Minimum Education : Bachelors in Information Technology or Bachelors in Computer Science Required Minimum License(s) And Certification(s) : All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. Additional License(s) And Certification(s) : (none specified) Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, business analysis, or architecture-related roles Understanding of EA frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, Gartner EA) Experience with EA tools and modeling languages (e.g., ArchiMate, UML, BPMN) Familiarity with cloud, DevOps, and digital transformation strategies Healthcare IT Provider experience (preferred) Certifications like TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, or ITIL are a plus (preferred) Skills
