We are seeking a skilled

DNS Administrator/Engineer

with hands-on experience in

Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)

solutions to support enterprise-level network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of DNS services in a secure, high-availability environment. This role requires an active

Secret clearance at a minimum, Top Secret preferred

and experience working in classified or sensitive environments. Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain DNS/DHCP/IPAM infrastructure using

Infoblox Grid Manager . Configure and troubleshoot DNS zones, records, and DHCP scopes. Monitor DNS performance and security, including DNSSEC and RPZ (Response Policy Zones). Implement DNS redundancy, failover, and load balancing strategies. Collaborate with network, cybersecurity, and systems teams to ensure secure and reliable name resolution services. Maintain documentation of DNS architecture, configurations, and change management. Support incident response and root cause analysis for DNS-related issues. Ensure compliance with federal security standards (e.g., NIST, DISASTIGs). Participate in audits and vulnerability assessments related to DNS infrastructure. Required Qualifications

Active

Secret or Top Secret clearance

(SCI eligibility preferred). 3+ years of experience in DNS administration, including Infoblox DDI. Strong understanding of DNS protocols (BIND, DNSSEC, Anycast, etc.). Experience with IP address management (IPAM) and DHCP configuration. Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs). Experience in secure environments (DoD, IC, or federal agencies). Proficiency with Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments. Strong documentation and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications

Infoblox Certified Network Administrator (INCNA) or higher. Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting). Familiarity with cloud-based DNS services (e.g., AWS Route 53, Azure DNS). Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and DNS threat mitigation. Seniority level
