The Vice President of Solutions Engineering – AMS will lead and scale a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers across North and South America. This executive will drive technical pre-sales strategy, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to support Darktrace’s growth in the region. Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy: Build, lead, and mentor a geographically distributed team of Solutions Engineers. Define and execute the technical pre-sales strategy aligned with regional sales goals. Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Marketing to drive pipeline conversion and customer success. Customer Engagement: Serve as a senior technical advisor in strategic customer engagements. Represent Darktrace’s technology in executive-level meetings and industry events. Ensure consistent delivery of Proof of Value (POV) engagements and technical demos. Operational Excellence: Establish scalable processes for technical enablement, onboarding, and performance management. Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement across the SE function. Partner with global SE leadership to align best practices and innovation. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management to relay customer feedback and influence roadmap. Support Marketing and Sales Enablement with technical content and training. Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure seamless post-sales transitions. Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Pre-Sales. 5+ years in a leadership role managing regional or global SE teams. Deep understanding of cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise IT environments. Proven track record of scaling teams and driving revenue growth. Excellent communication and executive presence. Willingness to travel across the AMS region as needed. Preferred Experience

Experience in AI-driven cybersecurity or SaaS environments. Familiarity with Darktrace’s product suite or similar technologies. Multilingual capabilities (Spanish, Portuguese) a plus. Benefits
