We’re searching for a Corporate Counsel to join our legal team. This position will be hybrid out of our Chicago office. We value teamwork, learning from diverse experiences, and the ability to take on challenges while maintaining a sense of humor. What You’ll Do
Provide legal support for our global insurance carrier business unit, including sales, service and product teams Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of B2B SaaS agreements, including MSAs, professional services agreements, partnerships and data processing agreements Represent legal and compliance with product development activities Identify compliance issues and engage with appropriate subject matter experts to resolve when necessary Manage disputes, litigation, and other matters Partner with the business to help achieve strategic goals by identifying and implementing process improvements as well as opportunities for innovative delivery of legal support Qualifications
Your experience may include: 5 years of experience either at a law firm or enterprise SaaS software company Significant experience drafting and negotiating B2B SaaS-related agreements with enterprise customers Experience negotiating data privacy and artificial intelligence contractual terms Additional favorable experience: Insurance industry International operations Employment law Intellectual property Payments Credentials required: JD and any state bar admission in good standing We know that talent comes from all backgrounds and experience levels. Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage Holiday and Vacation Time Health & Wellness Days A Bonus Day for Your Birthday Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $160,000 - $200,000. To determine a new team member’s starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone’s depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible to participate in additional compensation plans such as bonus and commission. Your Security Matters
