Veterinarian Urgent Care – Canton, Michigan
An established small animal practice is seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their growing team in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. This role focuses solely on urgent and same-day cases—no routine wellness appointments—allowing doctors to concentrate on providing timely care for pets in need. Common cases include wound management, gastrointestinal issues, ear infections, and other non-emergency concerns. Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to small animal patients with urgent needs
Communicate effectively with clients to guide treatment decisions and care plans
Work collaboratively with a skilled technical team to ensure smooth case flow
Maintain accurate patient records and uphold high medical standards
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment and support staff development
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent through ECFVG or PAVE)
Active veterinary license in good standing within the state (or eligibility to obtain)
Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and time-management skills
Ability to provide calm, confident care in a fast-paced setting
