CTG is seeking to fill an
Infrastructure Specialist - Cloud Application Operations
position for our client in
Atlanta, GA
.
Duration:
12 months
Duties:
• Support and maintain cloud and on-premise infrastructure for business-critical applications.
• Manage and administer Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Configure and troubleshoot AWS resources including Security Groups, Application Load Balancers (ALBs), and Network Load Balancers (NLBs).
• Administer and maintain enterprise DNS/IPAM solutions such as Infoblox.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewall rules and policies.
• Provide Microsoft 365 administration and user support across email, collaboration, and identity services.
• Implement and maintain best practices for networking, including subnets, routing, load balancing, and firewall configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable cloud operations.
• Assist with automation and scripting tasks to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
• Participate in incident response, problem resolution, and change management activities.
Skills:
• Strong technical background in Windows Server infrastructure and related services.
• Hands-on AWS experience, especially with networking and load balancing components.
• Proficiency with enterprise-grade DNS/IPAM solutions such as Infoblox.
• Working knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls, including rule creation and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 administration and support.
• Strong grasp of networking concepts: subnets, routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
Nice to Have:
• AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Exposure to hybrid cloud environments and migration projects.
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and logging platforms.
Experience:
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience supporting and managing infrastructure operations in cloud and on-prem environments.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
