Process Analytics Field Service and Trai ABB’s Process Automation business area enables customers to operate some of the world’s largest and most complex industrial infrastructures, helping them outrun – leaner and cleaner.
We offer a broad range of automation, electrification and digital solutions for process, hybrid and maritime industries, including industry-specific integrated control and software as well as measurement and analytics solutions and services.
Key Responsibilities
Provide knowledge of and conduct work activities in compliance with the ABB HSE (Health, Safety and Environment), ABB Way, and Safety Manual & Safety policy always.
Maintain knowledge of and conduct work activities in compliance with all safety policies.
Develop and further expand technical knowledge and expertise, currently recognized industry standards for engineering ability.
Maintain knowledge of applicable product line warranties and accomplish effective warranty administration.
Be responsible for hands-on execution of projects including startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive and unplanned maintenance of Measurement and Analytics products including but not limited to Gas Chromatograph Analyzers (GC), Continuous Gas Analyzers (CGAs), Laser Analyzers, Analyzer Network products, Reid Vapor Pressure Analyzers, FT-IR, and FT-NIR Analyzers.
Qualifications Associates degree in Instrumentation and or Analyzer applied sciences and 3 years of engineering/ field experience, or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of engineering / field experience.
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 75% as required. Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid passport and driver's license.
Technical skills in startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive, and unplanned maintenance of products including but not limited to flow, pressure, temperature, level meters and continuous water analyzers.
Ability to build strong customer relationships.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with minimum supervision.
Strong Computer skills to include Outlook, Excel, and Word.
