*Job Title: Data Center Technician - GPU Cluster Deployment*
*Overview* We are hiring experienced *Data Center Technicians* to support GPU cluster deployments in a high-performance data center environment. This team will operate on a *3x4x12 schedule* across all four core shifts (A/B Days/Nights). *Open Roles* * *Lead Technician*: 5+ years of leadership or management experience in data center operations. * *Level 4 Technician*: 5+ years of dedicated data center experience, with a focus on troubleshooting large GPU deployments. * *Level 3 Technician*: 3+ years of hands-on data center experience. *Shift Schedule* * *A Side Days*: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & every other Wednesday | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM * *A Side Nights*: Same days | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM * *B Side Days*: Thursday, Friday, Saturday & every other Wednesday | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM * *B Side Nights*: Same days | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM *Key Responsibilities* * Perform break-fix tasks on GPUs, servers, network hardware, and cabling. * Manage ITSM tickets and ensure timely resolution. * Deploy and configure GPU servers, ensuring proper installation and functionality. * Land fully populated GPU/network racks, including: * Rack movement, baying, leveling, grounding * Hot-air containment and overhead cable tray installation
* Interpret BOMs to verify material completeness. * Install, test, and label copper and fiber infrastructure. * Handle optical modules (SFPs, QSFPs) and clean fiber connectors (SC, LC, MPO). * Rack and stack equipment; patch fiber and copper cables. * Support network admins with server/switch issues and configurations. * Lead build activities and ensure alignment with data center standards. * Provide thought leadership and manage multiple high-stress projects. * Maintain safety compliance and document progress using standard tracking tools. * Travel as required. *Technical Skills* * Data center deployment and troubleshooting * Fiber optic and copper cabling (Cat5, Cat6) * Rack and stack operations * Ethernet technologies (SM, MM, MPO) * Optical module handling and fiber cleaning * DC power systems * Familiarity with telecom engineering design for enterprise data centers *Preferred Certifications & Experience* * *Certifications*: CompTIA A+, Server+, CCENT, CCNA, MCP/MSCE (preferred) * *OS & Scripting*: Windows OS, PowerShell, Python, Bash (preferred) * *Experience Level*: Intermediate (3-10+ years in data center deployment/break-fix roles) #DC25 Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $49.50/hr.
