Associate Director - Marketing Technology Strategy

What You'll Be Doing
Martech Strategy & Implementation: Translate product strategy into a clear roadmap, collaborating with IT and vendor partners to implement new technologies.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Represent marketing in broader corporate strategic planning and technology discussions, serving as the resident expert on Martech stack capabilities in campaign design and solutioning sessions.
Platform Management: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and governance of the Adobe Experience Platform and other Martech technologies, ensuring seamless integrations and data flows.
Team & Project Management: Lead a technical team, foster career development, prioritize work, manage deadlines, and ensure accountability.
Performance & Evangelism: Establish measurable goals and KPIs for the Adobe Experience Platform and serve as a key evangelist for the platform across Verizon Business Group.
Operations & Planning: Establish processes for technology delivery and onboarding, lead the annual planning process, and facilitate monthly reviews to track progress toward departmental goals.
Innovation: Stay current with emerging marketing technologies and trends, including AI-powered tools, to continuously improve marketing capabilities.

You'll Need To Have
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Eight or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Four or more years of experience in a Martech management role.
Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud implementations.
Experience with Adobe Experience Platform, Marketo Engage, Target, Analytics, and Customer Journey Analytics.
Experience managing, leading, and developing teams.
Experience driving complex projects and collaborating with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
Even Better If You Have
Deep technical expertise with Adobe Experience Cloud and Customer Data Platforms.
In-depth understanding of VEGAS (Verizon Enterprise GenAI & Agentic Services).
Adobe Business Practitioner certifications.
A proven track record of driving continuous improvement and innovation.
The ability to prioritize competing requests, solve complex business problems, and partner with IT and vendors to expand our technology capabilities.
Where You’ll Be Working In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for complying with hybrid work policies.
