Endox AI Compensation:

Competitive salary + equity About Endox AI Endox AI is building the next generation of physical AI systems for defense sustainment, logistics, and manufacturing. We’re pioneering machine learning models that enable collaborative robots (cobots) and humanoids to autonomously perform complex physical tasks across U.S. Army and DoD facilities. Our team blends experience from West Point, MIT, and Johns Hopkins, U.S. Army, and Lockheed Martin with deep ties to the U.S. Army SBIR ecosystem and MassRobotics community. The Role We’re looking for a Robotics Engineer to join our founding team and help design, prototype, and deploy the first generation of Endox AI’s autonomous systems. You’ll work directly with the CEO and research partners from MIT CSAIL and Army Letterkenny Depot to translate high-level mission requirements into real-world robot capabilities. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that bridges AI perception, robot control, and simulation-to-reality (Sim2Real) transfer. You’ll shape the architecture of our physical AI foundation model and lead full-stack robot integration — from sensor fusion and motion planning to real-world field testing. Responsibilities

Design and implement robot control and autonomy pipelines (ROS2, MoveIt, Isaac Sim, etc.). Develop vision-based manipulation and perception systems using deep learning and reinforcement learning. Integrate and test algorithms on collaborative arms, humanoids, and mobile robots (e.g., UR, Stretch, Digit). Create simulation environments and digital twins for training and validation (Isaac Sim / Gazebo / Mujoco). Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to build robust, field-ready systems. Conduct experiments with DoD partners and iterate on mission-driven use cases. Contribute to research publications, patent filings, and technical documentation. Requirements

B.S./M.S. in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Strong experience with ROS2, Python/C++, and at least one simulation environment (Isaac Sim, Gazebo, Mujoco, PyBullet). Knowledge of robot kinematics, motion planning, and control systems. Familiarity with computer vision (OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow) and perception-based autonomy. Hands-on experience with real robot platforms (e.g., UR, Kinova, Boston Dynamics, Agility, etc.). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, experimental startup environment. Preferred

Experience with DoD robotics, simulation-to-reality transfer, or foundation models for robotics. Background in reinforcement learning, imitation learning, or control theory. Familiarity with edge computing, digital twins, or multi-modal data collection. Prior work with defense primes, SBIR/STTR projects, or academic robotics labs. Why Join Us

Build foundational systems for physical AI and shape the next defense robotics revolution. Collaborate with engineers and scientists across MIT, MassRobotics, and the U.S. Army. Early equity, impact, and technical ownership in a deep-tech startup backed by DoD SBIR funding. Contribute to the mission of securing America’s technological edge through intelligent autonomy. Location: Watertown, MA Salary range: $90,000.00 – $115,000.00
