Schedule:
Saturday Day Shift
LVT Pay:
$25.60 - $49.15 / hour
This location covers the cost of parking downtown and bus passes.
Pay Band:
This is a starting point and depends on experience and advancement through the Kahuna leveling system.
We offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked during nights and weekends, based on a 4-hour minimum. For example:
Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential
Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.50 Shift Differential
Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $8.00 Shift Differential

As an Emergency Veterinary Technician, you will:
Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia using anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
Triaging emergency cases, including obtaining vitals such as temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure.
Perform digital radiography with proper technique and positioning.
Understand normal ranges of patient vital signs and interpret blood pressure and other vital signs, alerting veterinarians to changes.
Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
Calculate medical math, administer medications via appropriate routes and durations.
Perform phlebotomy and place intravenous catheters in peripheral vessels.
Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters.
Mentor and train colleagues, demonstrating patience and empathy in client interactions.
