Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, maintain and debug applications with solid application design and coding practices.

Contribute in an Agile environment.

Develop tests using JUnit and Cucumber.

Utilize APM monitoring tools and logging tools (e.g., Splunk).

Work with JIRA and Confluence (preferred).

Develop using Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services/SOA and frameworks such as Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, JPA, REST, MQ, Kafka.

Develop RESTful microservices with AWS.

Collaborate with GIT/Bitbucket, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins to build and deploy code to production environments.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with Kubernetes.

Qualifications / Skills

Strong application development experience in an Agile environment.

Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services/SOA; experience with Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, JPA).

Experience with REST, MQ, Kafka, and building RESTful microservices.

Experience with AWS cloud services.

Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk).

Experience with CI/CD tooling (Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins).

Strong debugging, testing (JUnit, Cucumber), and maintenance skills.
