We are currently seeking a full-time
Environmental Remediation Engineer
to join a team of professionals in
Tampa, FL . This is an excellent opportunity to grow and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients across the country.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
P.E. required.
Strong knowledge of CERCLA, RCRA, and other environmental regulations, legislation, and SOPs.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute large-scale investigations of soil/groundwater contamination and vapor intrusion studies under CERCLA and RCRA.
Compile, interpret, and present investigation data in technical reports.
Develop evaluations and implement responses/corrective actions.
Lead and support remedial and process engineering projects and teams to fill data gaps, design, construct, operate, and optimize systems.
Plan and perform assessments, pilot tests, construction oversight, and remedy O&M.
Evaluate data from aquifer tests, pilot studies, bench testing, sampling events, and modeling to develop remedial strategies.
Prepare, review, and mentor others in the development of design basis, technology feasibility analyses and selection, and design plans, specifications, and reports.
Communicate with regulatory personnel and permitting agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable regulations.
Manage projects at Superfund sites, federal facilities, military installations, and commercial/industrial properties.
Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and long-term projections for remediation projects.
Provide technical assistance to teams working across multiple offices throughout the country, including problem-solving, mentoring, leading by example, and participating in corporate technical initiatives.
