Commercial Building Maintenance Engineer Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Building Maintenance Engineer to join the team of a premier Class A office building. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years in commercial building HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire prevention systems, along with a strong commitment to safety, tenant satisfaction, and operational excellence. Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety equipment, ensuring peak efficiency and code compliance. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain a comfortable and safe environment for tenants and visitors. Coordinate with property management, contractors, and vendors to oversee building projects, maintain equipment logs, and ensure timely completion of work orders and inspections. Qualifications
1-2 years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing building systems in a Class A commercial office environment. Solid working knowledge of commercial HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire prevention systems, with relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Universal CFC, Electrical License, Fire Safety). Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to working flexible hours as needed to support building operations. Seniority level
