Construction MEP Project Manager - Mechanical Experience We're working with a respected Mechanical Contractor in Columbus that's looking to add an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to oversee complex commercial ground-up and renovation projects, while working with a company known for its quality, reliability, and strong market presence.

Responsibilities

Manage mechanical scopes (HVAC, plumbing, piping) on large commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout

Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontracts, RFIs, and change orders

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors

Lead and mentor project engineers and field staff

Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and performance standards

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the mechanical construction industry

Proven track record managing large commercial projects ($5M–$50M+)

Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems

Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar)

Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
