Job Summary Reporting to the Lead Technologist and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs a variety of mammography procedures that utilize radiation, while monitoring and maintaining essential patient care and safety.
Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required. Experience: Previous radiologic technology experience preferred. Prior mammography experience strongly preferred.
Licensure and/or Certification Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required or Temporary Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of MA required. Currently registered as R.T.(M)(ARRT) or registry-eligible R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire. While not R.T.(M)(ARRT) must have a current Mammography Permit in the Commonwealth of MA. BLS healthcare provider required.
Skills Strong communication and customer service skills. Must be computer proficient including PACS and HIS/RIS. Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to maintain confidential information required.
